POS Application (React & Django)

Developed a full-featured POS system with session management, payment processing, and a user-friendly UI/UX design using React, Django, and Figma. The application supports both frontend and backend functionalities and is designed with AI integration in mind for future updates.

AI Bootcamp for Students (Trainer)

Delivered engaging AI and generative AI training to students aged 14-18. The program emphasized hands-on learning with AI tools, helping students explore and build AI-driven projects for the future.

Research: DNA Spatial Organization

Analyzed chromatin spatial organization and gene expression data, developing scripts in C and Python to process and visualize data. Implemented an RNA-seq pipeline using SRA-Toolkit and RSEM to map gene expressions.

Developed an IRC (Internet Relay Chat) application as part of my projects at 42 Abu Dhabi coding school. The project involved creating a server-client architecture using C, allowing multiple users to connect and communicate in real-time. Implemented command-line parsing and message handling for seamless user interaction.

Research: Electron Microscopy in the Age of Big Data

Processed and analyzed electron microscopy data using Gatan DigitalMicrograph, with custom Python scripts for high-resolution imaging and material property measurement. Implemented multi-dimensional data analysis using Hyperspy for stress analysis and strain mapping.

Reflection

Over the past few years, I’ve embarked on a journey that has fundamentally shaped how I approach challenges, both technical and personal. From the early days of learning basic programming to building complex systems like the POS application, each step has pushed me to grow in unexpected ways.

One of the most significant lessons I’ve learned is the value of persistence. Tackling diffrent projects taught me that problems, no matter how complex, can always be broken down into manageable pieces. With each line of code, debugging session, or algorithm tweak, I grew more confident in my ability to handle uncertainty and ambiguity.

Collaboration has also played a key role in my development. Working with diverse teams at the coding school and beyond, I’ve learned that innovation often comes from engaging with different perspectives. Effective communication and a willingness to adapt have been essential, whether guiding students during AI workshops or collaborating with peers on coding projects.

Looking ahead, I’m excited to continue growing as a developer. I aim to deepen my understanding of AI integration and push the boundaries of what I can create. With each project, I’m reminded that technology is not just about solving problems t’s about constantly evolving, learning, and embracing new challenges with creativity and resilience.
